Why do you throw a laser printer drum away?

A printer contains electrostatic and drum rolls that is frequently and rapidly charged and discharged with a very strong current. It takes its toll on the play. The why they are expelled or replacement is after thousands of rounds to be loaded and unloaded, they no longer hold a charge constant. What happens at this point is the toner powder is not able to join the drum rolls properly and you get an uneven Poor print quality. The drum has a preset number of pages, it will be printed before the manufacturer has decided to be poor impression a problem.
