How do I set up black lights for a rallying force? Windows are covered gymnasium.?
I am a coach of joy and try to collect a pep rally black light. The pep rally will be in the gym that has all the windows covered with black paper. There will be children Primary sat on the floor by the outlets and I am trying to understand how to set up the lights so that cheerleaders and anyone who does will be "bright". Any help would be greatly appreciated.
In such situations, the best solution is to use lights with UV filters, which is obviously expensive if you do not already have spots and UV filters are not cheap (because they become very hot absorbing visible light.) The best solution is probably to use 4 'fluorescent bulbs in 40 watt black light in them. You will need to sit either on the floor in a line or hang near a row over the heads of the dear leaders between the public and artists. You'll need to protect the tubes display direct public with aluminum reflectors because look at the blacklight tube gives many people headaches. The problem is that cheerleaders must still be able to see what they do and requires little light that is powerful black light (spots) or close.
